I greatly enjoyed the hotel, it's lovely old and relaxing and the location is excellent in the new conservatory.

Everything was perfect, wonderful staff, excellent location next to the truly beautiful garden, fields, and the local pub The Miner's Arms. Enjoyed beautifully decorated and extremely pleasant room with comfortable beds, felt like we were home. The breakfast was reasonably good and lovely with jam and homemade bread, as for instance, no complaints whatsoever.

Jenny's homemade breakfast, with fresh fruit, delicious coffee, and her own preserves, was absolutely delicious. She also provided us with valuable information about nearby attractions. Mellowvean was a charming and secluded place to stay. CONS: No issues whatsoever.
